On this page, we are testing two Apple Vision Pro cases: the original from Apple for a hefty 199$ and the Klasden Pouch Case for 89,99$ from Spigen for the new Apple Vision Pro. Which one is better? Let’s find out!

Watch the video with a lot of details

Apple Vision Pro – Original Case 199$ vs. Spigen Case 89,99$

We are testing each case for quality, storage capabilities, and of course, value for money.

The Original Apple Vision Pro Case for 199$

The original case is a hard case, which means it protects the Apple Vision Pro very well in case of a fall. The interior material is a type of microfiber, extremely soft, and of high quality. The holder for the Apple Vision Pro can also be adjusted, so the AVP does not move around inside the case. The carrying strap can be pulled out, and there is a small extra pouch for the charger and cables. Additionally, all my accessories, including a power bank, fit inside.

Now, for the drawbacks. Why is the material so wrinkled? It really does not look good. Additionally, my case has a strong chemical smell. The price is very high, and for many, this case is simply too expensive. However, the price ratio is similar to what Apple charges for iPhone cases. The material is also very prone to dust.

Advantages

Hard case

Interior material is very high quality and soft

Adjustable holder for the Apple Vision Pro

Retractable carrying strap

Extra pouch for charger and cables included

All my accessories, including power bank, fit inside

Disadvantages

Why is the material so wrinkled?

Strong chemical smell

Extremely expensive but similar to the price ratio of iPhone cases

Material is very prone to dust

Conclusion – Who is this case suitable for?

The case is superbly made except for the wrinkled exterior fabric. Otherwise, it offers everything you need to protect your Apple Vision Pro and store your accessories. If the price doesn’t bother you, this is a good choice.

The Spigen Case for the Apple Vision Pro for 89.99$

The Spigen case for the Apple Vision Pro costs significantly less and is also a hard case. The interior material is also soft and a type of microfiber. However, the material in the original case is noticeably more high-end. Here, too, we have a retractable carrying strap. Additionally, there is a thick cushion between the two compartments to secure the Apple Vision Pro. An extra box is also integrated with a zipper, which is fixed with Velcro and can be removed. All my accessories fit inside here too, but they fit better in the Apple case.

I could only find one drawback, which is wasted space. In the video, I show what I mean. As a result, all my accessories fit better in the original Apple case.

Advantages

Hard case

Interior material is very pleasant and soft but not as soft as Apple’s

Retractable carrying strap

Removable box

Thick pillow to separate the two compartments

All my accessories, including power bank, fit inside, but more space in Apple’s case

Disadvantages

Wasted space

Conclusion – Who is this case suitable for?

There’s really nothing to complain about here except for the wasted space. It’s also much cheaper than the Apple case.

Conclusion – Which is the better Apple Vision Pro case?

Both are very good cases for the Apple Vision Pro. However, for me, the Spigen case wins because, considering the value for money, the Spigen case is clearly ahead.

The Apple case uses higher quality materials, but in my opinion, that does not justify the very high price premium.
