The new iPhone 16 Pro is out, featuring even thinner bezels compared to the iPhone 15 Pro. However, the iPhone 15 Pro already faced issues with slightly curved edges and screen protectors. Are we seeing the same issues with the iPhone 16 Pro?

iPhone 16 Pro | Which is the Best Screen Protector?
After testing four different screen protectors for the new iPhone 16 Pro, it’s clear that not all of them perform equally. Below, you’ll find the pros and cons of each tested product, along with my final verdict on which screen protector offers the best value for money.
1st Place & Winner – The Japanese ROXX Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro
The screen protector from ROXX is harder, clearer, and more scratch-resistant than the others, as I have previously tested in a video. It’s the largest in our test, covering the entire front of the phone and becoming almost invisible. The edges are rounded, so you don’t even feel it. Installation is easy, thanks to the included frame, and it comes with everything you need for mounting. Touch and Face ID work flawlessly, and you can use all cases from my iPhone 16 Pro case test without the screen protector being lifted by the case edges.
As always, there’s one drawback: The black border slightly covers the display when viewed head-on, but it’s only noticeable if you open the camera and look at the four white edges. Otherwise, you won’t notice it.
Price: $29.90 for 3 pieces ($10 each)
Pros:
✓ Japanese glass – harder, clearer, and more scratch-resistant
✓ Almost invisible
✓ Rounded edges
✓ Easy installation with the frame
✓ Touch and Face ID work
✓ Comes with all necessary accessories
✓ Compatible with all cases from my test
Cons:
✗ Slightly covers the display
Conclusion – Who is this screen protector for?
The ROXX screen protector stands out due to its size. It’s slightly larger than the Torras one below, making it invisible by covering the entire front. Additionally, we have the proven Japanese glass, which has already been put through a durability test.

2nd Place – The Torras Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro
The Torras screen protector also features a black border, making it barely visible, though it’s slightly smaller than the ROXX one. Because of that, you can still notice it. The edges are rounded here as well, and installation is easy with all necessary accessories included. Touch and Face ID function perfectly, and it’s also compatible with all cases from my test.
However, the black border slightly covers the display when viewed directly, but only when you open the camera and look at the four white edges. The other downside is the price – it’s the most expensive in our test.
Price: $29.99 for 2 pieces ($15 each)
Pros:
✓ Almost invisible
✓ Rounded edges
✓ Easy installation with the frame
✓ Touch and Face ID work
✓ Comes with all necessary accessories
✓ Compatible with all cases from my test
Cons:
✗ Slightly covers the display
✗ Expensive
Conclusion – Who is this screen protector for?
This screen protector is definitely better than the ones from Spigen and ESR, as the black border covers more of the iPhone’s front. However, the ROXX screen protector is about half a millimeter larger, covering the entire front. Plus, it costs less.

3rd Place – The ESR Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro
The ESR screen protector comes in third place. It’s smaller than both the ROXX and Torras ones, and doesn’t have a black border. Installation is straightforward, with all necessary tools included. Touch and Face ID work without issues, and it’s compatible with all cases from my iPhone 16 Pro case test.
However, this screen protector doesn’t have rounded edges, making it noticeable. It’s also smaller, meaning it doesn’t cover the entire front, so it’s visible. In my experience, the protector aligned too low, leaving a wider strip at the top.
Price: $16.99 for 3 pieces ($5.66 each)
Pros:
✓ Easy installation with the frame
✓ Touch and Face ID work
✓ Comes with all necessary accessories
✓ Compatible with all cases from my test
Cons:
✗ Smaller than others, doesn’t cover the full front
✗ No rounded edges, noticeable edge
✗ Misaligned during installation, thicker top edge
Conclusion – Who is this screen protector for?
In terms of size, it’s similar to the Spigen one, but the ESR protector tends to sit too low, leaving a thick gap at the top. There are better options available, but this one is priced fairly well.

4th Place – The Spigen Tr EZ Fit Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro
Landing in fourth place is the Spigen screen protector. Installation is easy, and both Face ID and touch work without issues. It’s also compatible with all the cases from my test.
However, this screen protector is much smaller than the ones with a black border, making it more noticeable since it doesn’t extend to the edges. The edges aren’t rounded, making the edges feel rough. During my first attempt, small air bubbles formed, and I wasn’t pleased with the excessive plastic in the packaging. Also, many reviews on Amazon are for the iPhone 15 models, which becomes evident when sorting reviews by most recent.
Price: $18.99 for 2 pieces ($9 each)
Pros:
✓ Easy installation with the frame
✓ Touch and Face ID work flawlessly
✓ Comes with all necessary accessories
✓ Compatible with all cases from my test
Cons:
✗ Smaller than others, doesn’t cover the full front
✗ No rounded edges, noticeable edge
✗ Small air bubbles during first attempt
✗ Excessive plastic packaging
✗ Misleading reviews, mostly for iPhone 15
Conclusion – Who is this screen protector for?
During my first try, I ended up with small air bubbles, as shown in the picture. Additionally, there’s no black border, so the protector only covers the display and not the entire front of the iPhone. Currently, there are better options available.
