The Original Apple Clear Case for iPhone 16 Pro
The original Apple Clear Case for the iPhone 16 Pro stands out due to its special material. This case is made from a single piece, unlike the others which are made of two parts – a hard back with a rubber frame. This material doesn’t turn yellow, as the rubber on other cases often does. The case is a complete hard shell, providing perfect protection in case of a fall! The display is protected by a raised edge, so it won’t touch the surface when dropped or placed down, even with a screen protector installed. The camera on the back is also protected by a raised edge. Additionally, we have MagSafe integration, and all screen protectors from my iPhone 16 screen protector test are compatible with this case.
Unfortunately, this case is not closed at the bottom, and of course, the price is steep. You might want to take a closer look at the second option from ROXX, which is made of the same material, has metal buttons, is closed at the bottom, and costs less than half the price.
Price: $49
Pros
✓ Made from a single piece with very pleasant material
✓ Hard case
✓ Display protection
✓ Camera protection
✓ Doesn’t turn yellow
✓ MagSafe compatible
✓ Camera button covered
✓ Compatible with all screen protectors
✓ All cutouts well placed
✓ Buttons with good feedback
Cons
✗ Not closed at the bottom
✗ Expensive
✗ Fingerprints
✗ Fits a bit loosely
Conclusion – Who is this case for?
The only real advantage I see with this case is the covered camera button. Otherwise, the competition does it better and cheaper.

The ROXX Clear Case for iPhone 16 Pro
The ROXX Clear Case has the same advantages as the original Apple Clear Case for the iPhone 16, but with some improvements. First, this case is closed at the bottom, and the speakers are individually cut out, reducing dust and dirt buildup. The buttons are made of metal, providing perfect, audible tactile feedback. Of course, we also have MagSafe integration here, and all this for less than half the price.
The only downside, if you will, is that the camera button is not covered.
