I had been looking on the internet for an alternative to test for a long time, but I did not really find one, except directly from China on AliExpress and similar sites.
We will do the test like this:

Differences between the fabric cases from Apple & ROXX
Apple’s case is made of two parts. The frame is more slippery and feels different from the rest of the case.
The ROXX case is made from one single piece and feels better in the hand because the material is rougher and less slippery.
The Apple FineWoven case weighs 30 g, the ROXX case weighs 37 g. That is a difference of 7 g. You do not notice this in daily use, but point 3 explains where the difference comes from.
The difference comes from the microfiber inner lining in the ROXX case, which Apple does not have. This lining holds dirt or small grains of sand in place, so they cannot move around and scratch the back of the phone without you noticing. I had this happen once, and nobody wants that.
The ROXX case does not have the popular Apple logo on the back, which some people really want.
You pay extra for the logo: 40 $ more. The Apple case costs 69 $, the ROXX case only 29.90$.
Conclusion – Is the ROXX Woven case as good as Apple’s?
I would say it is even better than the original case, and not only because of the price. The biggest difference is the inner protection, which I personally would not want to miss anymore. If Apple had included this, the cases would be almost the same, except for the price.
